Michael Jackson- Bad TourThis is a live compilation of the 1987 Bad World Tour. Songs are from various shows, but the quality is amazing on all of them. He sings songs from many albums, from his Jackson 5 material all the way up to his most recent album at the time, Bad.

The downside to a success like Thriller is that it’s nearly impossible to follow, but Michael Jackson approached Bad much the same way he approached Thriller — take the basic formula of the predecessor, expand it slightly, and move it outward.

In 2007, American blues artist Seasick Steve (born Steve Wold) won the Mojo Magazine Award for Best Breakthrough Act. His drunken acceptance speech was simply: “I’ve been breaking through for 45 years!” Nothing could be more true for Steve, who left home at 14, had a succession of incredibly disparate jobs, from fruit picker to record producer, and has spent the past five years becoming, against all odds, one of the most popular and respected entertainers in the UK.

For Crosby Loggins, what’s past is prologue. With Time To Move, his debut Jive Records release, Loggins draws on a unique personal and musical history to forge a statement that places his intimate voice front and center. After several years of leading the jazzier, funk-inflected Crosby Loggins and the Light, the songwriter opted for tighter editing and sharper focus on Time To Move. Its ten songs exude the warmth of mid-70s singer-songwriter LPs, retaining a comfortable, well-worn feel without seeming aggressively retro.
